We offer personalised, unique Wedding
Ceremonies in Sydney and surrounding areas.
My personal service for your wedding consists of;
- An Initial Meeting to sign the Notice of Intended Marriage form, booking of the wedding date and discuss general ideas you may have for your wedding. Please note that the Notice of Intended Marriage must be signed no later than 1 month and 1 day prior to the wedding. In special circumstances, e.g. family illness, medical reasons, overseas work posting etc., you may apply to the authorities for approval for a shortening of time which, if granted would allow a wedding to take place at an earlier date. I also require you to pay a non-refundable deposit at this time, this deposit officially reserves your wedding for the time and day of your choice.
- Follow up contact via email, phone or face to face if you wish, to discuss choices and styles for the ceremony. I provide a huge range of ceremony choices which can be mixed and matched to make your ceremony unique. I also have an eclectic collection of readings which you may like to consider. To include a reading into the ceremony is a wonderful way to involve friends or family members in your special day.
- Once you have made your choice for the ceremony I forward a draft for your approval. The week before the ceremony is really for “housekeeping” activities, ie., rehearsal, final changes etc., we usually have lots of communication to make sure all details are clear.
- I do recommend a rehearsal as it does “calm the nerves” and makes the bridal party more aware of their duties. The rehearsal usually takes place no earlier than a week prior to the ceremony. It is ideal if the rehearsal can take place at the venue however, if this is not possible then I am happy to make my home available to you. I usually require the bride and groom to sign the legally required Statutory Declaration at the time of the rehearsal and also pay the balance of the fee. I don’t think it is appropriate for the final fee to be paid on the day of the wedding as it can be awkward and distracting.
- Conducting the ceremony.
- I also provide a presentation copy of your ceremony which is a lovely keepsake to remind you of your special day.
Fees vary depending on traveling time and location. Call us for a quote
